NRWL Spotlight - The Fall of Rex Anarchy

Last week, the NRWL parted ways with Rex Anarchy, a wrestler who burst onto the scene earlier this year by winning the NRWL Championship on his first night. Since that night, Rex started on a downward spiral that came to an end at the recent Team Colors Tournament. Most fans didn't know it but that was the last time they would see Rex Anarchy in the NRWL ring. What happened to Rex Anarchy? How could such a talented wrestler burn out so quickly?

Rex Anarchy joined the NRWL as a last minute addition to the roster for the fourth season. Like most of the other wrestlers, Rex was a newcomer to the scene. The NRWL decided that they would reboot their product by bringing in new faces and creating all new stars. Shortly before the tournament to crown the new NRWL Champion was to take place, Rex found himself a spot on the card. According to Jay Phillips, Mr. Sunderland was very high on Rex Anarchy.

When we were just about ready to start season four, Rex Anarchy stepped into the NRWL and it just took a lot of us by surprise. The roster was basically all filled up at that point and then out of nowhere he steps into the arena. The truth is that Mr. Sunderland was a bit shaky about one of the other wrestlers on the roster but it was so close to launch that he didn't think he had much of a choice but leave things the way they were. As luck would have it, Rex Anarchy came to him and inquired about coming in. Mr. Sunderland gave him a tryout and was impressed by his skills in the ring. He liked Rex personally as well. It seemed like a great fit and a solution for Mr. Sunderland's roster concerns. He signed Rex immediately.

Rex would go on to win the NRWL Championship in that tournament and secure his place as the top star of the company. At least, that's how it was supposed to be. Over the next few months, other wrestlers on the roster started to make a name for themselves with intense matches and personalities that attracted fans. Wrestlers like Ash, Slam Jackson, Scotty Paris, the Sons of Darkness, and Marty Anderson quickly became top draws for the NRWL. While Rex Anarchy was standing on top of the mountain, everyone was paying attention to what was going on in the valley below him. Storm Harrison recalls Rex's early days as champion.

We were all finding our footing in those first two or three months. Some guys found their niche rather quickly and some of us didn't. Rex was one of the guys who didn't. I remember he was frustrated. He had some real concerns with society and corporate structure and felt that the NRWL would be a great place to vent. It definitely can be. Mr. Charles and Mr. Sunderland let us do whatever we want but it is up to us to make a name for ourselves and get over with the fans. Some guys came right out the gate with a purpose. Rex had an idea of what he wanted to do but I don't think he knew how to handle it given his situation as champion. In my opinion, Rex Anarchy would've been one of the most popular guys here if he didn't win the NRWL Championship. His success was his downfall.

Rex's frustrations didn't stop there. As champion, he found himself on a losing streak in the ring. Because the roster was so young and unproven, the people who stepped up to face him were put in non-title matches, prolonging his reign as NRWL Champion despite losing matches. The losing streak continued until he was finally put in a title match against Slam Jackson. By this point, Rex had grown so frustrated with his position that he threatened to take the title hostage and refuse to defend it again if he won. Luckily for the NRWL, Slam Jackson defeated him and became the new NRWL Champion.

Rex Anarchy was finally free of the championship that was holding him down but after so many loses and falling flat with the audience, it was obvious that it would take a strong showing to keep him on the roster. Shortly after losing the title, Rex was chosen as a member of Johnny Young's team for the Team Color Tournament. It was a good opportunity to make the comeback he so badly needed. Unfortunately for Rex, he was unable to make the kind of appearance that he needed to show he was still a major player. His one victory for the night against Meinrad von Brakkus in a double elimination match came after a loss earlier in the evening. In the second round, he was defeated again.

A week later, the NRWL decided to cut its ties with Rex Anarchy, a decision that was not easy for either side. There would be no comeback, not even a demotion to the NRWL's minor league system. Rex probably wouldn't want that anyway. He is free now and can start over with a clean slate.

Being NRWL Champion is undoubtably an honor and a high point for any wrestler's career. Rex Anarchy can be proud of being a champion. Unfortunately, his early achievement was also his only high point. Rex's days in a wrestling ring are far from over but it is likely you won't see him in the NRWL again any time soon. Sometimes being successful has fatal consequences.

NWRL Releases Rex Anarchy

NRWL has announced that it has released Rex Anarchy. Rex first joined the NRWL at the start of season four. He is notable for being the first NRWL Champion of season four by winning a 16-man tournament.

*Ash is waling through arena back hallways with a card and pen. He turns the corner and bumps into Rex Anarchy*

Rex: Watch it, punk!

Ash: Oh! Hi Rex! I didn’t see you walking there!

Rex: I know! Now get out of my way!

Ash: Wait! Check it out, Rex! *shows Rex the card* It’s got a chimp on it!

Rex: *reading front of card outloud* “It’s your birthday…”

*Ash opens card*

Rex: *reading inside of card* “Go bananas. Happy birthday.” …..That’s stupid!

Ash: It’s Mr. Charles’s birthday today! So I got him a birthday card and I’m having all the wrestlers sign it!

Rex: What?

Ash: Yeah, here look. There’s a space right after the “Happy birthday” so he’ll see your name first probably!

Rex: And everyone else signed this? Yeah right…

Ash: Well…no. Just Slam Jackson right now. But I’m sure most of them will get back to me. So there's plenty of real estate open if case you wanted to write a longer birthday wish.

Rex: *Turns and stares right into Ash’s face* You….are what’s wrong with wrestling these days.

Ash: You know, you keep that attitude up, and I’m not gong to pick you on my team for this upcoming tournament, mister.

*Rex scowls in disgust and walks away*

Ash: *calls after Rex* Don't worry! I know you’re busy! I’ll just sign your name for you! *opens card and begins writing* “To the best boss ever, hope your birthday ‘Rex’ havoc! Yours, R. Anarchy.”

*Ash smiles as the scene fades out*

Anarchy Reigns

*Jay Phillips is standing backstage with NRWL Champion Rex Anarchy.*

Jay Phillips: Rex, big night two weeks ago at the last NRWL Event. A lot of the talk following the show involves you and the NRWL Championship. I'd like to get your thoughts on your upcoming title defense, but first, I'd like to ask you about your match against Mikey Armstrong. At the end of the match, you decided to just stand and watch Mikey win the match. Why?

Rex Anarchy: Why? I think the question should be, 'why not?' That match was a joke like all the other matches I have had here in the NRWL since I won this title. Every week I've come out here and given no reason to even try. Non-title matches, special stipulations, tag team matches. There's only been one title defense since I won this title and the guy who won that match wasn't even awarded the belt! I grow tired of being the man holding onto a meaningless championship.

JP: Meaningless championship?

RA: That's right, Jay. Meaningless. I have been doing some thinking and I figured it all out. When I won the championship tournament, everyone here was new to the NWRL. All but Johnny Young. The, ahem, Star Player. I think Young dropped the ball for the NRWL and didn't win the tournament like he was expected to. Since I've won it, the company has been waiting for the right person to be the "face of the NRWL". They made sure I kept the belt until they found the right person. They don't like me. They don't want me. That's why, until now, the NRWL Championship has been played down. Most of the excitement and build up is in the mid card. They've been waiting for the right person to step up because the money machine will be fueled greatly by merchandise sales of T-Shirts featuring the champ that everyone wanted!

JP: What?!? You're delusional! Are you really suggesting that this is all just a conspiracy for selling promotional material?

RA: Not delusional at all, Jay. I'm simply right. Look at who the number one contender is. Slam Jackson. The leader of the Slamnation. You can't tell me that's promotional gold. If he were the top dog in the company, you know NRWL would be making money hand over fist. Why didn't Apollyon get another shot at this title? Doesn't seem to have a whole lot of personality. Why not Bruno Kowalski? Great in the ring, dull on the microphone. Ingoyama? He's a solid performer but they wouldn't have a clue how to promote him. Pedro Muchacho? Their core audience can't even understand what he's saying. You expect them to follow his lead? Marty Anderson? He'd do fine but they like him where he's at, shepherding some other guy. Johnny Young? I'm not even sure why they still have him around after he failed them in the tournament. No, NRWL wants a champion that they can market easily. That's why Scotty Paris, Ash, Slam, and Mark Blood were given the number one contender opportunity. They are all faces that would look good in promos and they already know what to do with them. It's not hard to promote Scotty Paris when they've already got experience with Flawless Fred. Ash is like countless other 'superheroes' from wrestling history, NRWL can just clone the Mike Blood process with his son, and Slam Jackson is just a goofy guy who the fans seem to like. Remember LaZ0r? People loved that guy. They could push Slam the same way.

JP: You sound bitter. Maybe you should - *Rex quickly shoves Jay into the wall, knees him in the stomach, and throws him off camera. He picks up the microphone.


RA: Enough playing by the rules. Here's how it goes down. NRWL, you better hope that Slam Jackson is your savior. If he wins, he'll make you a lot of money. But if he doesn't win? Well, if he doesn't win this match, I'm going to bring everything tumbling down. I will take the NRWL Championship hostage and use it as a symbol of chaos. There will be no title defenses. It will bring everyone back to base level. There won't be a number one contender. There won't be a championship for little Scotty Paris to cash in a title shot for. Don't go issuing a new one either. All the history of the NRWL is in this championship. If you replace it, you effectively wipe out history. Then, with nothing to aim for, the wrestlers will simply leave and the NRWL will collapse. Anarchy will rule supreme. Slam Jackson, you better hope you have the best night of your life in that ring when we meet. If not, you damned this company and all of its fans.

*Rex drops the mic and walks off. The camera pans over to him walking away. Jay Phillips is on his hands and knees trying to get up. Rex pushes his boot against the side of Jay's head, knocking him back over. Rex looks down and shakes his head before walking out of the room.*

Chopping Down Trees

*Jay Phillips is backstage with Rex Anarchy, who is leaning against a wall. The NRWL Championship is draped over his shoulder.*

Jay Phillips: Fans, I'm here with Rex Anarchy, the NRWL Champion. Last week, he lost a non-title match against Bruno Kowalski. This week? Bruno will be his tag team partner as they take on the Sons of Darkness. Rex, what are your feelings on this turn of events?

Rex Anarchy: Jay, let me start first by speaking of last week's match. Bruno Kowalski proved he is one of the best guys in the business. No doubt about it, he was the better man. We'll have our day again soon and when we do, I expect this title to be on the line. The truth is, I'm itching for a real title defense. Bruno Kowalski is the real deal. Which brings me to the question at hand. How do I feel about this current turn of events? I don't fear the Sons of Darkness. Apollyon and I are no strangers and we're no friends. Abbadon's just another Apollyon. Nick Belhor is just a flea. He can't even help his own guys win a match! Did you see the Abbadon/Harrison match?

JP: I did. So you sound pretty confident in this match. Certainly you are no stranger to the Sons of Darkness. How do you feel about Bruno Kowalski as your partner?

RA: You can put me on a team with anyone. If they're no good, I'll just pull the extra weight. That's not what is happening here. Bruno Kowalski as my partner is the best scenario I could hope for. You made a mistake, Belhor. The two of us are going to chop down your mutants like trees and we'll do it with our bare hands.


JP: Sounds like this should be a great match! You know, I have to ask. You are speaking very highly of Bruno Kowalski. It doesn't seem like you.

RA: Well Jay, you have to give credit where it is due. I thought Kowalski was good before we got in the ring but after being in the ring with him personally, I knew for certain. The Sons of Darkness have backed themselves into a corner. We will defeat them and kick them aside. It's time to finally put these freaks in their place!

*Rex Anarchy walks off, leaving Jay Phillips by himself.*

JP: Rex Anarchy and Bruno Kowalski against the Sons of Darkness. This is sounding like it is going to be big!

The Championship Scramble

May 9th 2011

*Jay Phillips is backstage with Rex Anarchy. Rex looks relaxed wearing blue jeans and a black T-shirt. The NRWL Championship belt slung over his right shoulder.*

Jay Phillips: Fans, I just caught up with the NRWL Champion, Rex Anarchy, backstage. Rex, you've been relatively quiet compared to most of the other wrestlers on the roster. Fans are curious why that is. Typically, the champion makes the most noise out of anyone.

Rex Anarchy: Let me stop you right there, Jay. Yes, typically, the champion does everything he can to be the spotlight because being the top dog isn't enough to feed their egos. I don't work that way. When I get in the ring, I let my actions speak for me. I don't need to get in front of a camera at every opportunity to tell people I'm here.

JP: I'm sure the NRWL would like you to make your presence known a little more.


RA: I don't really care what they think. If they don't like it, they can take the belt away from me and have another tournament. I'll just win it back anyway. You know what though? I don't think they'll have to worry about that because things are starting to get interesting around this belt. First, that big monkey Apollyon jumps in for a shot at the title. Then Scotty Paris. Now Jay, I pick my fights. Scotty Paris was an annoying fly in that match. I let him do his thing but the one I wanted was Apollyon and he wanted me. Look at the tape of that match. Scotty was more of a third wheel. Apollyon and I aren't done yet. Someday down the line, we'll have our time.

JP: So you didn't care that Scotty won the ladder match?

RA: Of course not! I would have rather won that match myself but given the choice of pummeling Apollyon or squashing that bug Paris, I had my priorities. Scotty Paris is in my view now. He's certainly got my attention but it sounds like there's someone else who wants a chance to fight me.

JP: Yes! You have been challenged by Bruno Kowalski this week. What are your thoughts on this match?

RA: You know, I'm glad to see a guy like Bruno Kowalski step up. "The Polish Powerhouse" is one of the guys I actually like watching in the ring. He's got talent which is something I can't say about so many of the other guys on the roster. I look forward to a good match but I hope he's not expecting this to launch his career to a higher level. If he is, he's barking up the wrong tree. He's good. He's no Rex Anarchy.

JP: Strong words from the champion. Rex, last question, Apollyon and Scotty Paris are in a match this week. Any thoughts?

RA: Either way, it doesn't matter. Unless they kill each other, I look forward to destroying both of them in due time.

JP: There you have it folks, Rex Anarchy has a lot of people looking for the chance to take his belt and from the sounds of it he's looking forward to fending them off. We'll see Rex Anarchy taking on Bruno Kowalski this week. Looking forward to this one!

Anarchy in the NRWL

April 12th 2011



Hello everyone. Jay Phillips here. The NRWL has added Scotty “The Body” Paris into the NRWL Championship match between Apollyon and Rex Anarchy. Like many of you fans, I was curious what the defending champion, Rex Anarchy, thought about this change to his match. Here’s what he had to say.







“Jay, this is fantastic. I love that in the short time this season has been running, they company has completely given up on order and rules. There are far more talented wrestlers on the roster that should be in this match besides Scotty Paris. But you know what makes Scotty truly worthy of this opportunity? He just went for it. He said, ‘put me in the match’ and dammit he got it. He knows what it takes to get what you want. Just do it. Scotty Paris, Apollyon, I look forward to meeting the two of you in the ring. I’ll be sure to wave to you from the top of the ladder during my victory.”







Well, there you have it. Rex Anarchy seems pretty confident in his chances in this upcoming ladder match. Will he be successful? We’ll find out together soon enough!

A Man of Solutions

April 1st 2011



Rex Anarchy has been rummaging through a storage area in the NRWL Arena. Cameras caught up with the NRWL Champion to see what he was up to. He stepped behind a large wall of chain linked fencing, shook it, and walked away. He picked up some chairs and tossed them down, knocked on a folding table, and then looked away in deep thought. Finally, he looked straight ahead and smiled. He grabbed our camera man and centered the camera on himself.




"Is this thing on? Good. Apollyon, I have to hand it to you. You weren't the over-hyped, inflated piece of garbage I expected. You actually have some skill. I'd say you've earned yourself a shot at the belt and I'm granting it. The NRWL does not feel the same way as they seem pretty angry about you and your bag headed buddy skipping on the tournament. Bad for business, they say. Better qualified contenders, they suggest. Who cares? It's not their belt anymore. It became mine when I won it! But today is the NRWL's lucky day because Rex Anarchy is a man of solutions. I've been thinking about the best way to go about this and I think I figured it out. The NRWL wants a contender to climb the ranks. They want him to climb to the very top and look down over all others. I'm going to give you an opportunity to experience it. See this over here?"




Rex Anarchy motioned for our cameraman to film the corner of the room. There, propped up against a wall was a ladder.




"Apollyon, you are going to climb the ladder of the NRWL! At the top, the NRWL Championship. The very title your manager so desperately wants so you can be the next 'poster boy champion'. It'll be great. They'll make action figures of you, T-Shirts, and maybe even a movie deal! Nick Belhor profits from you and I really hope you don't let him down. The guy has one hell of a mortgage on his Fun House and he can't afford it if you aren't bringing in the big bucks! For your manager's sake, accept my ladder match challenge for the NRWL Championship. I'll bring the ladders. All you need to bring is yourself. Leave the fear of heights at home."




We appear to have a challenge from the champion in the form of a ladder match for the NRWL Championship. We'll keep you updated as this progresses.

The J-Transfer - Rex Anarchy's Thoughts

Hello everyone. Jay Phillips here. If you’ve checked out the News section of the site, you already know that the upcoming match between NRWL Champion Rex Anarchy and a member of the Sons of Darkness is a non-title match.

I was curious about Rex Anarchy’s thoughts on this new development and gave him a call. This is what he had to say.



Jay, this is bullshit. The NRWL is trying to protect me? Is that it? I have no problem with this being a title match. This is just a waste of time. Once I polish of one of these masked morons I.. hey, wait a second, how did you get my cell phone number?



I quickly hung up at this point. He seemed pretty mad and, well, I got the message. Rex Anarchy is not happy about the latest developments concerning his upcoming match. Regardless, this is turning out to be quite exciting for the fans!

The J-Transfer - Interview with the Champion

March 14th 2011



Hello everyone and welcome to another edition of the J-Transfer. I was pleased to be given the opportunity to interview the new NRWL Champion, Rex Anarchy. In our interview, we discussed winning the championship tournament, the caliber of talent on this season’s roster, and the challenge extended from Sons of Darkness manager, Nick Belhor.




Rex met with me at my desk in the NRWL Arena offices. He strolled in without the championship belt, looking casual in jeans and a plain black t-shirt. He didn’t appear to be interested being there. During our interview, he would look with distain at my fellow employees wearing suits and sitting in cubicles. Clearly, he didn’t like being in that environment.







Jay Phillips: Rex Anarchy, congratulations on becoming the first NRWL Champion of season four. How does it feel?




Rex Anarchy: Jay, winning the tournament was incredible. I’m not sure if you will ever know the feeling of true accomplishment but know that it is a great feeling. Although, in truth, I knew I had this in the bag from the start.




JP: Really? That sounds awfully confident. What made you think that you would win the whole tournament?




RA: Not think, Jay. I knew. I looked at the rest of the competition between my own matches and you know what I saw? Poor technique. Amateur skill. It looked too easy. Judging by how the night ended, I think you can agree I was right.




JP: Umm.. Well, you did come out with the belt but there’s a whole roster full of talent!




RA: There is. This season’s roster is impressive but it doesn’t mean that I am in the same league as them.




JP: Speaking of the roster, there’s two men you haven’t seen perform yet. Abbadon and Apollyon, the Sons of Darkness. In fact, their manager, Nick Belhor, has issued a challenge to you. Did you see it?




RA: Oh, the guys with the carny that speaks for them, right? Yeah, I saw that. It’s a shame they don’t speak for themselves because that Belhor guy is comical to even look at. How are you supposed to feel threatened by a little runt like that? Anyway, despite that, I have to admit, I like the guy.




JP: You like him?




RA: Yeah, he’s got the right idea. See, here’s how the NRWL would want things to go. They’d want to see me go up against guys like Quasar, or Ash, Slam Jackson, you know, the guys who have earned it in their eyes. But Nick Belhor? He kept his men out of the tournament entirely, a cowardly move, I admit. However, here’s where the great part comes in! He completely avoids following the format and decides to do it his own way. I love it! That’s chaos, my friend. He’s got the right idea.




JP: I never thought of it like that. How do you feel about his criticism of your status as champion? Do you feel you are part of the system?




RA: Huh? Oh, no, I don’t care. There’s a very big difference between social anarchy and being recognized as better than everyone else. He’s just trying to get under my skin but I would like to acknowledge his challenge. Belhor, yes, I accept your challenge against one of your brutes. Send whichever one you want. It’ll be more fun that way and I like surprises! I hope you do too because you might be surprised to see a big man cry through his mask.







At this point in the interview, Mr. Anarchy proceeded to stand up, reach across the table to my lunch bag, take out the sandwich I had, and walked away. That was it for the interview. As he was walking out I saw him take a bite and then throw the rest in a nearby wastebasket. What a shame. It was tuna. I love tuna.

The J-Transfer - Wrestlers Speak on Tournament

Hi Folks! This is Jay Phillips! Welcome to the J-Transfer! This is my little segment where I show highlights from interviews I've conducted throughout the week in rapid secession! I guess I didn't warrant getting my own section of the website, so I'm stuck under the "Action!" page. Oh well, someday...




With the NRWL Champion tournament brackets now established, I caught up with some of the participants and asked them to weigh in on their matches and opponents.




I found Mark Blood training for his match against Slam Jackson. He had some words for his opponent.




“Slam Jackson? Yeah, I’m looking forward to this match. We’re first on the card and I can tell you that between the two of us, we are guaranteed to start this thing off right. Slam, you seem like a worthy opponent but I have no intention of doing anything less than winning the NRWL Championship. Failure is not an option. I’ll see you Friday.”




Ash had this to say about his match...




"It doesn't really matter who I'm up against in this tournament. I'm gonna give it my all, and see it through to the end. Marty Anderson, watch out! Here I come!"




I spoke with Marty Anderson as well.




“I don’t know who Ash is. I’ve never met the man. What I can offer to him is some advice. Ash, bring your very best because you will need it. I’ll show no mercy. Whether you love me, or you hate me, I’ll make sure you respect me!”




I caught up with Pedro Muchacho at the casino. I had to swim through the entourage of ladies surrounding him, and I never saw anyone play craps in a suit and mask before...




"Que'-zar? Ha ha ha! He ees joke, hombre! He may have takeen heez name from a grande Roman eem-porr-rrar, but he ees no cham-pee-yon! *throws dice* Tell mee theees, seen-yor - what kind ov a man wrey-sools een a reedeeculous mask like that?? *dice are handed back to him* Ees loco! *breathes on dice through mask's mouth-hole and throws them again*"




I managed to find Nick Belhor creeping through the hallways without his two bruisers around, so I wasn't scared to approach him. He seemed less-than-pleased with the match-ups - specifically, the match between his two hulks...




"It's an outrage! It's a farce! I'm even inclined to believe that this is a result of card stacking! Some higher-up did not want two other wrestler out of commission before this season even gets underway, so they pit the two strongest men against each other so only one can continue on! This match should and would be the final match of the tournament brackets for the championship. I'm personally going to file a grievance for this match. If the suits are smart, they will re-seed the brackets. If not, I may have my disciples boycott the match in protest. And that is not an idle threat!"




Mr. Belhor is calling out the NRWL front office on his boys bashin' it up. Will the NRWL execs hear his grievance? If they deny his re-seeding request, will Nick hold true to his word and deny us the match we want to see? Drama drama drama!




But on the other side, Scotty "The Body" Paris seems hardly upset about his match. In fact, he seemed more upset with me...




"*talking on cell phone by his pool* No, I told you. That's not enough for a personal appearance. Who do they think I am? ........ Who the hell is Jesse Ventura??? I'm--hold on? *turns to microphone* What is it, Jay? Can't you see I'm busy here? Oh, you want me to comment on my match, do you? Well, how's this? Storm Harrison is a flake. He sounds like he should be a G.I. Joe action figure! 'Hey Kids! Buy Storm Harrison to battle the evil Cobra Commander! Storm Harrison! Now with Kung-Fu Grip and real simulation tears!' Geeze.... *back on phone* Hello? Sorry, it was just one of the NRWL's minimum-wage clowns taking up more of my valuable time. Now, about that Nike endorsement deal - if they cut ties with LeBron James as an act of good faith, tell them I'll 'consider'...."




I didn’t speak to Rex Anarchy but he posted about his match on his Twitter account.




“The tournament bracket has been announced and I am fighting some jungle dweller named Ingoyama? I promise to send him back there promptly!”




I didn’t even need to find Johnny Young. He found me! He asked me to pass the following along to his opponent, Bruno Kowalski.




“Aww yeah! The Star Player, the ONLY NRWL star good enough to be brought back, is winning the NRWL Championship again come Friday night. Bruno Powerhouse, I hear you’re a great wrestler so you’d better be worth my trouble. I intend to make this look good for one of my highlight reels. I thank you in advance for your part in Johnny Young’s continuing domination in the NRWL.”




And finally, I caught up with "The Polish Powerhouse" Bruno Kowalski, and asking him his opinions on what many people are already talking about as being the "Match of the Night"...




"It's gonna be a helluva match, I can tell you that already. Johnny Young is the real deal. I have to wrestle a perfect match. No questions about it. Even the smallest mistake against him can cost me the win. The man can capitalize on the slightest miscalculation and make you pay in spades. When watching tapes from Season 1 when he won the title, he was good back then, but took things a little more lightly. Now, he's even better, and seems to take things very seriously. I'll have my work cut out for me. If there's a silver lining, it could be that I'll be jumping the highest hurtle first."
